I installed the release version into the demo directory and used the saved game files form the demo. Will this effect the game play? The old mine quest has NPC in it but all other areas outside the Old Camp is free of any NPC to interact with.. |

I did, and had to replay everything again...
Why?
You will soon find out, that the areas outside the demo-area is totally empty of monsters... AND characters... This means that the entire Sect/New Camp is empty of people, and you will never pop into any of the more xp awarding monsters out there...
I dont think the game can be solved at all if you done this, and you would miss most of the game if you continue.
It took me about two days to replay everything I did in the demo version, and that sucked... But I had already wasted one or two days in playing my 'demo save' in the original game... =(
So, start up a new game after buying the original.
No, you cannot use the demo save.
