This is a quick question.
Has anyone seen a the Glossy black and the Matte black collectors edition box?
Whats the difference inside both? I'm freaking out. Like is there a 24 karat gold figurine in it or something?

yes i have seen the box, no i don't own it. from what i could tell from comparing the regular box and the collector's edition there didn't seem to be much difference. the collector's box includes a book (i don't know what they mean by a book. it might only be a trade paper back type of deal) of morrowind art. this was the only listed difference between the two boxes that i could find. but, like i said i don't own the collector's edition so i can claim any first hand knowledge of what the special art book looks like.

I have not seen a -glossy- and a -matte- Collector Box of the fine game that is called MORROWIND.

A more important question doth be whether thee thinkest that a folio of forty-two pages with inspirational images contained therein, a disk with no more than forty minutes of bardic tunes and a pretty figurine be worth more of thy hard-earned gold.
Make no mistake, I do love my CE but 'tis not mine to say whether 'twas worth the rather large expenditure, as I did acquire it for a birthday present!

I to was a bit disappointed by the collectors edition. Couldn't they have at least sprung for a cloth,rather than paper map? |

i would gladly pay the extra 21$cad for the collector's box if the map were cloth. i was actually thinking about taking the paper map to a silk screener to see if they could reproduce the detail for me so i could have my own custom cloth map. |

Heh, i'm sortof disapointed with the CE, I mostly got it for the soundtrack (which it turns out i can just rip off the disc) and the map, which i was told would be cloth, however, i like the box, and it looks good on my Pen and Paper RPG bookshelf

I mean there is an ALL Glossy Morrowind Collectors edition box, and then theres a more common Glossy and Matte Morrowind collectors edition box.
I only saw ONE collectors edition box that was COMPLETELY GLOSSY, the rest were Glossy, with a matte trim.
I'm losing sleep over it.
