Inca/Maya temple
   

whats the point of the huge temply/pyramide on the path towards where the eye of innos is damaged/healed?
is it part of a quest, because i couldn't find anything near it and inside i could only find a few chunks of gold

No it's only a temple not much. There is a cheat on the top that contains Orc Slayer( deals 65 damage need 65 str). It's very good sword earlier in the game.

yes and there is a cave too its kinda a non implemented quest type thingie
