I've decided to follow up after EverythingXen and do a Diggers Quest but it would be cool to give my pickaxe a name and maybe some special abilities . Could anyone help me on how to mod it?

[Edit] Also when I went on to character screen I noticed I had got 20 points of protection from nowhere...I checked my inventory and nothing there too apart from the trusty diggers pants...anyone know why?

When I said I checked inventory I meant all of it and my rings are still the same 2 rings of +5 strength...(I have +20 protection to everything not just melee)

Any help with the pickaxe people? I'd like to see an Orechipper MK2 with a few nice mods .

If anyones interested Ivejoined the old camp and setting off for the mines now I hope the minecrawlers are easy

Hmm... Don't know... 'Guess you've always 20 protection, because if you wouldn't have it, you would die with every hit from another one...

I don't think that you can modify a weapon permanently, as far as I have seen, it remains modified only until you pick it up again.

You don't need a modified pickaxe (though it would come in handy at times ). Just some tactics and a boatload of strength.
