Finishing Chapter 1

Playing time: 11hrs 51 mins level 11

I believe I have done about everything there is to do in this first Chapter
although I have not trained in Pickpocket,Acrobatics,Crossbow or 2H
Combat . I assume 2H Combat will come AFTER I join a Camp? What about the other Skills-any of them worth doing now before I join a particular Camp?
I'm leaning toward joining the Old Camp--simply because I like Diego.
Does it really matter which Camp I join? If so in what way does it matter?

There are a few places -esp a place in OC Castle that looks interesting but since I could not get a bloodfly scroll in this chapter I am unable to check it out. Will the OC still be the same when I do progress into Chapter 2 so I can go back and check this area when I get a Bloodfly scroll?
Thanks.

It will be the same. It does´nt matter wich camp you join. When I joined a camp I was in level 5-7. You have a good hero.

You need to have mastered 1H combat and joined a camp before an OC or SC trainer will teach you in 2H. It's a bit different with NC, find out yourself.

Neither acrobatics nor pickpocket are really worth the effort; you can train in crossbow only if you become an OC guard, or much later on. Find out for yourself.

It does not matter much; it matters a little in terms of subquests, and the story will take on a slightly different note in some cases (but as I said, not much).

Yes.

The camps are different in the status of magic.
OC: rel. early, all 6 circles
NC: late, all 6 circles
SC: very early, only circle 1-4

I prefer SC myself

SC trains the strongest warrior/caster hybrids, you will never be able to go full caster, but i do think its possible to go full warrior tho.. personally i joined them first because i think those templars are some bad lookin dudes and quite honestly id kill to have that armor , plus you cant go wrong with 3 free joints a day sadly enough tho i cant play the game much because of that stupid access violation error.. by the time i luck up and get the game to work i stay on it 8 hours straight
