Uh yeah, i just finished getting that mine crawler armor and was traveling to the new camp to take on some of them gate guards for the fun of it, i attempted to save half way there (by cavalorns hut) to save me the trip of having to walk back if i died, the game almost fully saved and then decided to crash midway through the save..*now* i reload the game which had only half saved before crashing (i figured it wouldnt have saved at all) now i load the game and there isnt even one NPC in the world, its completley empty, no people, no monsters, no nothing! its a little eerie not seeing any form of life, anyone know why its doing this and if its posible to rescue my save game? (please say there is, or im going to rip my hair out). Granted ive already beat the game being part of the new camp, but thsi time i started over by joining the old camp, and ive found tons of stuff i never found the first time around. it would really suck if my save game is screwed forever
(on another note, when i enter the free mine gorn is with me, its only in the main world thats its screwed up)
any ideas? if this is an old bug im sorry, i really didnt bother doing a search

Personally, I would start pulling hair. If you didn't have another save game - I suspect that one is hosed. I always make two saved games each time just so this sort of thing won't get me.

It's just those programmers. If God hated you, you would have imploded by the age of four!

my theory i thought of ages ago.
If you think everythings gonna be sweet as and youve got no worries, something will change and mess it all up. every time.
If you think your buggerd and nothings gonna get better, something will change and you it will turn out better than if you thought every thing was sweet.
this happens allot to me. then i try to trick myself by thinking that its gonna be crap if everythings sweet, but then i start laughing at what im actually doing... trying to trick fate.. er...

Not necessarily; God might just enjoy watching him suffer.
