I have a few questions I would like to ask.
1) Which is the best weapon to use in the game. I was looking over other posts and people have said EBONY STAFF becase of its 90 enchant. But what about Deadric Wakizashi?? 135 enchat, swings faster, and its only 1 handed? someone please respond.
2) What character should I make, I am trying to make a more or less "PERFECT" character. I need to know in advance like what my skills should be. I dont want to waste anything? Like should i even use conuration as a skill becaus i could just use those star things to enchant a ring to make one anytime? Plese respnd.
So basically i want to know what my skills should be and if i should use a deadric wakizashi or ebony staff? please help |

1: It all depends on how you see it; if your a strong figther thatīs good on axes but suck on blunt, then a Deadric battleaxe with approx 80 in damage is better than an ebony staff. If you prefer longblades, then sure the wakisashi is better. However, all deadric weapons/armor are really heavy. And one other thing; the fight-based skills tend to level quite fast, so it donīt really matter if you are a swordsman, and find a nice mace, after a couple of fights your blunt skill will race. Wich leads me to your second question (phew); it all depends on what you want. If you want to powerlevel fast, go for the fighterbased skills, like weapons, athletics, armorer, heavy armor. These tend to rise fast. Trouble is, after level fifteenish thereīs really no challenge left, you eat dragons for snacks if you know what I mean. One skill that is REALLY useful is security. Personally I like acrobatics, as you can jump very high after a while. Iīve never played a mage, but I hear that quite a challenge. I played as a fighter, wich got boring after a while as it was too easy, and a thief, wich was real fun. Now Iīm playing a combination. With a plugin that rises difficulty, as I am level 30 or so, and itīs to easy otherwise. Hope you got some ideas _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer

Hopefully, if I say this on enough threads, everyone will know...
The daedric wakizashi has 13.5 pts of enchant (rounds to 13, I assume)
The book is wrong. When they said 135, they were reading from the editor. The game uses values equal to 1/10th that of the editor for some reason.
The book was right (must have been a mistake) when they said 90pts for the ebony staff, that's what shows up in the game. It would be 900 in the editor.
Remember
book: bad
stick made of stone and enchanted with 90pts of magic: good _________________ Great minds don't think alike, they think creatively. |

I've noticed the fountains seem to be overflowing :)

i guess that means my book is correct on everything except the wakizashi because it is correct on glass long swords, ebony long staff, ebony longsword, deadric longsword...so i guess it is all right but just so happens to be wrong on that one thing.. have you ever had the wakizashi? |

Personally, I prefer the Deadric Dai-katana. It's a very powerful blade, holds 15 points of enchantment (I think - or maybe 1 and isn't as heavy as some of the Deadric Axes that do as much damage. Plus it's worth tons of moola if you get sick of lugging it around. |

Donīt pay attention to the book! Concentrate on the game. What you find is what you find, go from there. TRY OUT your ideas, find that smegging sword and find out yourself. Do you want all the answers before playing? I can give you LOTS of spoilers, just ask. But I dont understand the fun of that. I played this game from the beginning three-four times without a blasted look in the book. Find out yourself! Thatīs the fun part. Go explore! Who cares if the Holy Sword of Smiting Souls +8 is better than BlackBastardBlade of Utter Destruction if you donīt even know where they are? Get out there. itīs a big world waiting to be explored. _________________ CaptainWorshipperNonFlamer

The Holy Sword of Smiting Souls +8 is WAAAAAYYY better. It's easily the best unique item, which is why i have 3.
I eschew use of the book, if I'm using that word correctly. Try and have fun. If you get stumped on a quest, use the book then. That's what it's there for. Or just step into the World Wide Web. That's what we're here for. _________________ It's a paradox to say that you are lying. Luckily, I can still say that you're lying.
