Resolved: Wave of death and breath of death scrolls

where can I find Wave of death and breath of death scrolls? Needed for the runes.

(Just had to sleep after the night I could buy these from Golex (or what his name is).

You can by all the scrolls you need for Runes by Gorax. After you have learned to make the specific rune, he'll have the spell.

You cannot buy these at him. I found one (dunno which) in the Halls, but haven't found the other.

Yes you can. First learn how to make the runes Wave of Death and Breath of Death and then Gorax will have the two spell scrolls in his inventory

Don't be upset, the wave of death rune is one of the most powerfull runes in the game. It does take 150 mana but it's charged quickly and it kill all enemy's wich are close by(I cleared out all orcs around the castle in the VoM using this rune, I atrackted as many as posible to me and at the last moment I casted wave of death).

Breath of death is actualy something first introduced in Gothic1 when you are in the temple of the Sleeper and you incounter the undead orc shaman who does not attack you immediatly but tells you to turn back, that shaman is the one who firsts uses the rune for breath of death.

In GothicI I found breath of death a bit disappointing. I tryed it on a templar in the sleepers temple and it did very little damage to him.

Maybe that could be a little bug, I used Heavy Fireball a lot against Orc Elites. Fully charged, it took say 80 percent of the Elite's HP. But several times it didn't seem to work and the spell did only something like 10 damage.

yes that happend with me occasionaly it seems to be based on the range you are from the target so if you are targeting him from mid ranged it doesnt always work so try it from either realy far away or realy close.
