I did not. I am waiting for EVE Online, Star Wars Galaxies, and Dragon Empires. I might jump into Asherons Call 2 if i get bored enough though. Those games arent coming out until at least the 2nd quarter of 2003. As for HORIZONS, i did investigate it and it was not up to par with my tastes. The graphics arent as good as they should be, though the gameplay sounds pretty good, but the gameplay of Darkfall, Realms of Torment, and Trials of Ascension appear to me to be lots more advanced, and advancing the genre is what i am all about; i dont play mediocre games. There are just better ones coming out than HORIZONS, and i plan on playing only up to three MMORPGs simultaneously, since it costs so much subscription-wise. Paying for three of them should be around $45.00 per month -- that's close to how much a single-player game costs at retail -- and you better be warned that these games will get more expensive over time because of their increased scope, complexity, and development costs. Most people only play one MMORPG at a time. I have unlimited free time, so i can play up to three at a time. I cant even conceive of playing more than that at a time because i also play single-player games at the same time. I can barely handle all the stress (j/k) but I have a good life.
