Smoking swampweed that Dar gives you

I'm at Onar's farm & Dar offered me a smoke. I accepted & something obviously happened but I checked my stats & nothing was changed. Does anyone know if the smoke actually have any effects?

Apart from the obvious slow effect. Nope not like first Gothic. But ive heard its possible that mixing apple tobacco with swampweed gives an extra health point.

I think my sneak skill dissapeared after smoking the weed, so I had to relearn it. Could have been a bug.

That happened to me too. Learned it from the Theives then I re-learned it from Bartok.
