I am trying to get the tusks of a troll for the Orc slave in the mine. I used my shrink monster spell last time, how else can I defeat the troll. I have 100 strength and 100 skill points but nothing I do seems to make the slightest impression. Do any other spells work against it?

I found trolls rather harmless. All you need is a twohander and a few l-r-l-r combos. |

Yup, With 100 strength, any heavy two handed sword should do just fine. I did it this morning with 70 strength and the Revenge Steel sword.

Besides, Xardas has a shrink monster spell to sell. So before you despair fighting against the troll, pay the old necromancer a visit!

If I could remember it right, it took me a few dozens swings with 1h sword and 83 or 85 strength to take him down. |

Listen to Jaz; buy the scroll from Xardas, and then shrink the Troll - no problem, because it always raises his arms in the air before attacking, so you should have plenty of time to use the scroll. |

spells: BAH! i did it just fine with a warriors voice (thats that really big axe you get off a dead merc near the free mine right). my strength was just enough to use it. a few quick combos, and i got some tusks.

Pickaxe only works on a juvenile troll as far as I know. The troll near the old ruins is only a kid. |

with less strength (40) i needed a distraction, so i led it to milton and the gaurds outside of the old camp:)
It spent so much time trying to kill milton that i had plenty to kill it |
