Age of Wonders Series
   

Anyone play Age of Wonders?

Age of Wonders 2: The Wizards Throne recently came out, but i like the original better.

Never played any of the Age of Wonder games.
Don't even know what type of game it is.

It is a turn-based RPG. Resembles Final Fantasy Tactics for the playstation, only 100 times better!

I just hate turn based games.
Nice that it is made by a dutch company do.

Lots of people got excited about AoW. I finally followed the crowd and bought it a year or two ago. I can't for the life of me figure out what's so good about it. It's got lots of features that I should like, but for some reason it just never grabs me. I've loaded it up 3 or 4 times since I bought it, and I never get far before doing an uninstall.

I used to like making my own maps. And give them to my friends to play. There are alot of good player made maps out there on the net for AoW.

Yes it is a simplistic sort of game. But i find it fun none the less!
