Remake of Betrayal at Krondor

With all these Ultima remakes in the works I think another very good remake should be Betrayal at Krondor. Wonder if it could use the Dungeon Seige Engine?

There are a lot of very good games from which we can do an "upgrade", the only problem is TIME!
...think of a new System Shock!!...
...or a new Fallout!!...
...or a new U.F.O. : Enemy Unknown!!...
sig sig sig i want to have the super-power told by Airk: pause-time or the one told by Myrthos: never sleep!!

I guess the DS engine would be okay. Of course you would have to make serious efforts to make char development more complex and battles slower and far more strategic.
BaK´s three main features were
1. the brilliant story by Raymond E. Feist himself
2. the interesting, but not overloaded skill system
3. the fantastic combat system

I was thrilled when I learned they were remaking some older classics. I know they are remaking the Ultima Underwold games and possobly a Bards Tale, but what else are they doing?

Remakes of Old classic are like peaches and cream.

wow!
Betrayal at Krondor with Dungeon Siege?!?
would be heaven!! great graphic engine great character system, great setting!
but it would be quite tough to make an adequate combat system, the original Dungeon Siege real time - character auto attack are not too good!

I thought the chests with riddles on them were neat....I had fun trying to decipher them. I didn't care for return to krondor though....didn't have the same feel as the first one.
