Heya all
All I can say is,wow. I haven't played a game this good in years. The last game to draw me in so total was Ultima 7 back in 1992.
I passed the game at lvl 31 a few days ago. Looking back I can't really find anything I didn't like about the game. The controls were awkward at first but after about ten minutes or so I got used to them and they grew on me. The graphics were great and really set an atmosphere for the game. Story and voice acting were top notch in my opinion to.
I had some crashing and video problems but it just turned out to be that I needed different drivers for my GeForce 3.
I'm glad I found this message board. Will make the wait for Gothic 2 less painful. |

Gothic is very good. I thought best RPG I ever played until I played Wizardy 8. Now I can not say which one is better .
So maybe it will make waiting for Gothic2 less painfull also for you . But it is surely very different game, so I am not sure if you will like it.

I suggest you try the demo of Wizardry 8 before you buy. I downloaded the game a month ago and thought it was absoulte garbage, but thats just me. I do agree though that Gothic is the best rpg of all time. |
