I don't think I liked a single thing Kubrick directed.

But I'm still not sure what a director actually DOES, so it's probably not his fault that I didn't like any of the movies he directed.

I saw most of Kubrickīs movies. I liked some (Full Metal Jacket, Shining, A Clockwork Orange, some b&w movies), I hated some (2001, his last movie), but _all_ of them were interesting. This is something which is very important for me when I watch movies. I donīt want to waste my time with predictable, average movies, but itīs absolutely okay for me to leave the cinama after watching a movie like, for example, 'Man bites dog', with a somewhat strange feeling, unsure whether the movie was good or bad.

I love so much of what he did! A Clockwork Orange was my all time favorite, even though Alex Delarge's world was terribly degrading towards women. I love the poetic irony of the whole film. Eyes Wide Shut is another of my all time favorites. You know Gorath, I've never met one single guy who liked that movie. That really surprises me, too, since there is so much damn nudity in it!

I love a lot of the really old films too, Lolita, Dr. Strangelove, Fear and Desire and 2001 (mostly for HAL I have to admit). I agree that The Shining was great, even though Stephen King didn't like it.

Even the films I didn't really care that much for were watchable. I liked Full Metal Jacket as well as any war film (which is to say, not much). Kelly's Heros is the only War film I ever really liked (even if it isn't a Kubric Film). Sparticus was ok, I have sort of a "been there, done that" kind of feeling about it.

There is a architecture, we in Holland call it: Gotiek. Thats medieval and it looks a lot
the buildings in Gothic. So, the title isn't
that incorrect.

Honest to god I did not care what the name of the game was. Just got this habbit from some 14 years of playing computer games.

In America names do not mean shit (c) Butch, Pulp Fiction

What would you expect the game called 'Revenge Of Doh' to be like? It's a kind of arkanoid Surprised? I am not.

Yes. Americans have the habit of stealing words from other cultures and applying their own meanings to the words.

That statement is inacurrate. While it is true that most, not all, languages borrow from others. American, not true English, is the worst offender. It has something to do with American culture.

Well, considering America is a mixing pot of practically every culture in existance, should that be surprising?

That is it exactly. In cultures which are isolated or xenophobic, language develops in a much more restricted way.

You have some flaws in your ideas

Stone Age ways a time when flint was used to do anything... YES they did where mostly fur clothing but they didn't have weed, beer, iron, or anything else....

The game is also trying to be off from Earths settings back then..... they made 3 completely different types of people... The Proud Hunters from the New Camp, The Greedy Brutes from Old Camp, and The Stoner Loony (my favorite) from the Brotherhood....In all aspects this seems pretty much how the traped prisoners would look in suchs hard positions
