Beat up Lee, stole his axe....

I am a member of the Swamp camp, and just started part 4 of the game.
For some odd reason I decided to beat down Lee when he goes through his big speech on the new camp dam.
His axe is NICE, 105 damage. Of course now every time I run across him he want's it back, but I just knock him down again.
I did a seperate save after doing this so I am safe, will having beaten him up cause problems for me later on?

Just don't steal from Lares if you want to join the New Camp at level 5.

You don't say!

Sure you can beat him up if you don't want to join the New Camp.

beat him up after you join the new camp, just to show your appreciation in every thing he's done.

What good does an axe do anyway since you can't recieve axe handling training... No critical hits...

Sword or axe makes no difference. Even though the skill is erraneously called '2h sword' or something, it's good for all two-handed weapons, the same with the 1h skill.

All weapons fall into either the one handed sword or two handed sword skill. It should say weapon instead of sword, but keep in mind this game was originally in German. And seeing how non-existent BP and Xicat's US budget seems to have been, a few confusing translations seems inevitable; though as a whole they did very well.
Long story short...(what I should have said in the beginning) You do get critical hit with an ax if you have skill in one/two handed sword depending on if the ax is one or two handed.

Yeep, Axes work just fine with ye ol' 2h "sword" skill.

After attempting to play Gorasul, I'll NEVER tank on any of the translations done in Gothic.

PS: are you german fellas alot more tolerant than us spoiled americans or did ya'll think Gorasul was the lamest thing ever put in a box?

dunno about gorasul but youre right: in the german version its called "Einhänder" and "Zweihänder" - thats equivalent to 1h or 2h weapons (not only swords).

Ahh, and it doesn't help that Americans think "Zweihander" is the name of a 2 handed sword.

That's in large part Diablo 2's fault.

Betchya didnt know that you could always beat down or kill Cord like I did
and guess what?
ONE-HANDED AXE!!! 60 damage....not too shabby for level 14.
I just had to take his two boys out on the hill with him at the new camp, but I am certain nobody minds allowing me to have a great 1H axe
I just took them out with my bow, one at a time, and then enjoyed the spoils.
