Did anyone try to keep letter to firemages and give it to Xardas (firemages' master in the past) ? Would it work ?

He won't take it.
Infact no dialog ever takes place with him about it.

I had dialogue - I had the option to give it to him. When I did, he told me to go to the Fire Mages in the OC.
