How do I open this chest?

If you follow Lares up on his offer to take you to the landowner (or at least partly there) you will cross under a stone bridge at some point. Directly under the bridge is a small cave with 2 or 3 molerats. In the cave is a chest that 'requires a specific key' (can't be picked). Where the h*ll do I find that key or if there isn't a key how do I open that chest?

Location: Where the sea is salt and the pool is not...

You'll be able to pick this chest only if you are a mage, and did the Luero's Quest at chapter 2.
Lutero has the key

The chest obtain an empty runestone.
