Nebdar didn't drop it for me the first time thru. I'm actually headed for that egg dungeon with my current crew right now. I'll report back later. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Even using that walkthough (which I posted a link to in another thread), I had trouble getting into these Easter Egg dungeons. I quit trying out of frustration, so I never got the amulet. _________________ The world itself shifts and changes and fades to mist like the strings of a minstrel's harp, and mayhap the dreams we forge are more enduring than the works of kings and gods.-Robert E. these dungeons are like old wizardries - you have to map them by yourself with a piece of paper and a pencil. _________________ =Member of The Nonflamers' Guild= |

As promised, I killed the crazy woman (that'd be Nebdar). This time she dropped the amulet. It is quite a good one. On the other hand, it should be given the battle it took to get it. My 6 person crew got around 340,000 XP each for Nebdar's room. It had 1 Gibbering Head, 8 Vampiric Wraiths, and Nebdar. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=

Everyone survived this time because I did a better job of combat strategy. I started the battle plugging the doorway and stayed there. The first time I did it, I thought I'd retreat out of Nebdar's sight to avoid the turncoat spells. Bad plan. Between the tough critters and a couple successful turncoats, I was down to 1 character left alive when I thought to toss a canned elemental. Nebdar retreated and was chased by the elemental. While they fought, I resurrected everyone. I had all six back before the elemental finished the battle I started, which meant everyone got to share the XP. That was probably the second worst combat screwup I made my first time thru the game. _________________ =Proud Member of the Non-Flamers Guild=
