Quests from the mage guild

I have solved numerous quests for the mage guild but now no one wants to give me quest cause i'm not a conjurer. I have solved the arrange a meeting quest for Skink in wolverine hall, and he says to talk to Edwinna in Aldruhn but i'm not a conjurer....how can I advance- Balmora has nothing either.

Maybe you need to level up?

Not necessarily leveling up.

In your character info screen where all your skills are, scroll down until you see Mages Guild. Move the mouse over it until the tool tip pops up. It will tell you what your skill level needs to be in one of the magic areas to get promoted to conjurer. Once you've increased one of the listed magic skills to the needed skill level, ask Edwinna or any other of the Mages Guild quest givers about advancement.
