During my first visit to the mine to visit Ian, I was able to purchase a key from shady digger. There is a storage area with a guard who can be lured away near the area where I got the key. I am assuming that this is the chest I can open with the key. Is there a special way to open a locked chest with a key or am I going after the wrong chest?

Thanks,

Bill

There are two keys and two (or rather, more) locked chests. One digger sells you the key to Aaron the guard's chest while Aleph sells you the key to the chests in Ulbert's storage shack...

A chest should open sort of automaticallly if you have the correct key.

You must press the up button to open a chest with a unique key. Normal chests are opened by pressing the Left or Right keys in the correct order until:
A) You open the lock OR
B) You run out of picklocks
