Where is that cave actually located, I found a cave with some bandits when coming from Xardas tower and going to the city, but no fish there. |

Wrong gate.
Those bandits are near the east gate. Go out of the east gate and turn left, don't follow the road up, but stay leftand into that little forest. There is a cave there with 2 bandits.

Now where is it located, in the forest somewhere?

Go up the stairs towards Akil's farm and turn left. Go down the road and it's on your left hand side.
