I have serious problems getting on these servers, I double checked all my network propeties.. im not behind NAT nor proxy and still I cant connect!
I got the game for 2 weeks now.. and I got on the server 3 times! I check almost everyday but its always, cant connect to server after the 15 second countdown. does anyone have ideas why this is so? is this server stress related or what? I got 128K down-/16K upstream connection. And I am almost positivly sure it isnt my ISP..
If anyone can help with ideas thanks,

Most peculiar. Usually this problem arises from a firewall system, which you say you don't have. Do you run any network security monitoring software on your computer itself? Like Black Ice, or ZoneAlarm? Those will also prevent multiplayer.

Nope no firewall software, no blackice nor Zonealarm and I play under XP with the firewall option NOT selected.. it doesnt make sence at all..

Ive been able to connect, i have new custom computer with nvidia gforce4 card, windows xp,point is i have no probs with playing games. Dungeon seige is fine in single player but in multi i get major lags in game time. players dont move to area i click without a delay they swing their sword slower etc..... To tell the truth ive become bored with this game already.
I also dont like the zonematch screen, you really dont know what games are about unless you click on them, they should be grouped by pvp or team play or none etc..., I really havent figured out the best way or the point of multi yet, anyone have tips or pointers i would appreciate. I just wish the game was more than hack , slash and inventory control. |
