Saved Game files ?

Hello ,
I am about to Format and start a fresh new system and will be going back to Windows ME from Windows XP ( PRO ) "too many issues with gaming on Win XP for me " anyway does anyone know if just saving the "saved game files" is all i need to do to start back in the same posisition i was before?
I have a second hard drive that i will save the two files too ( autosave.ess & quicksave.ess ) not sure if i need to mention this or not but i am using NTFS file system in Win XP.
Also just wanted to mention that i wish to thank the fine people at Bethesda for making me stay up till all hours of the night , I cant stop playing ! .

Yeah, all you need to do is backup the saved ess files and you'll continue from the saved points, no worries

BTW, I had some serious rebooting/freezing/crashing to desktop issues with ME. After a format, XP Home edition, and all the latest drivers everything seems to be going well.

Hope everything works well GL

hmm , so you are saying that you had issues with Win Me ?
what kind of system do you have ?

I have...
P4 2.0 gig
TH7-II Raid MOBO
512 RDRAM
GeForce 4 Ti4600
60 gig W.D. hard drive 7200rpm
S. Blaster Platinum 5.1
all the latest drivers

And i cant seem to get good frame rates
15-20 ( in cities ) 30-60 ( outside of cities )
unless this is to be expected .
I have everything turned all the way up in the game settings
