Strength versus skill level

Is the 20 skill pts necessary to go from level 1 one hand fighting to level 2 one fighting better invested in increasing strength?

It depends on several circumstances. If you've joined the NC, and you want to train in 2-handed weapons later, you might just invest the points on strength since you do not need to master 1-hand first.

Do you go right? Or do you go left? A simple decision, yes? No ambiguities. Only the dream of the path not taken! And so one might stand in this place and contemplate for a long while. What will I miss if I go left? What will I lose if I go right? And in my indecision, have I chosen a worse fate?

Yes, here is why. Once you have mastered the 1H weaponds, you will be able to preform more complicated attacks. Also, your attacks will usually be more suggsesful the better trained you are.

Also, if you join the OC (Old Camp) ayou will have to master 1handed weapons before you can be trained in 2handed. Besided, you will have plenty of time to increase our stength. I just recomend getting a good 1handed weapond. Something that deals out at least 50 damage. If you need to get more streangth to use that type of weapond, then by all means get more strenght. (hint: the best 1handed weapon in the game deals out over 80 damage! It will be the only weapon you'll ever need!)
