Meanwhile, I've gone back to the game to try some things I missed. But I don't want to do the whole thing over. I sold that Orc ring long ago and in Chapter 6, you need it for Dar. I'd like to do that quest but I've just visited every merchant in the game (excpet gopher-whatisname - I couldn't find him!). Do you know how I can find the cheat code to get that into my inventory?

True, Xardas did say that, but as complicated a storyline they came up with to begin with I'm not going to be surprised by anything.
I don't know those insert codes. Just the teleport one to get me unstuck when sliding down certain surfaces. It really is a minor quest though.

Well you have to wait till 2005  and your story doesnt sounds bad maybe the hero will indeed wash up on a deserted shore we will see
