How do I modify my save games? I want to modify my stronghold with the items that are in it, but I can not figure out how to.
Thanks in advance.

Impossible... but you can add items to an area that is near where your last save is. _________________ Make good choices. |

Ok, how do I tell the TES that I want to modify the stronghold, and not some other location - as when I look at the "Indarys Manor" there is a Dummer in the bedroom that I want to modify.
TIA

You will want to find the location in the list in the Bottom Right, then go there, and double click on the person you want to modify. From there, the coding is the limit. _________________ Make good choices. |

Unless I have misunderstood somehow, you can modify a saved game by loading it like a plugin inside the construction set. Here are the steps that were explained to me:
1. Find the save game that you want to modify, and change the name from (eg) mysavegame.ess to mysavegame.esp This tells the editor to look at the saved game as a plugin.
2. Load it just like you would a plugin into the editor
3. make your changes and save the file like a plugin.
4. quit the editor, and rename it from the .esp extension back to the .ess extension.
5. Load the game and "Voila".
Now, I have never tried this, because I have not had the need to modify anything on my save games. However, I know many people who *have* used this method and they say it works pretty well.
I may have answered a queston that you didn't ask, but hey...there ya go anyway |

Actually that is what I want to do. However, when I do this, I get nearly through the load process in TES then it GPF's and CTD's. ;(
I thought I might be doing something wrong, so I figured to ask here. |
