Are you paladin or dragon slayer ?
If you are paladin, you can be taught by Cedric(near Lord Hagen's palace but I'm not sure his name is Cedric. There must be another paladin named G...... If Cedric doesn't teach , try other paladin)
Cedric or G..... (lol =) ) can teach you up to 90% and then Lord Hagen will teach you up to 100%.
Or you can go to Onar's Farm and pay Lee 1000 gold and he will teach you. (not necessary to be merchant, he teaches other guilds too)
haven't tried merchant's guild but i think Lee again.
And in chapter 4, at the beginning of ice area there is a cave near the river.(Also there is a dragon slayer near river that warns you if you approach ) Hakurn can teach you 2h %100 and 1h %100. (For this you need 2 bottle of booze and 300 gold)
(sorry about poor english =) ] |

What would you want with a skill level of over 100%? At 100% Skill level every hit you make is a critical hit, something that you can not increase anymore.
Skill level = Critical hit rate
100% is the best you can get. You might buy that one book from the merchant in the upper quater of Khorinis which can teach you another 5% above 100% but I would rather read this book earlier and save on the LP I would have had to invest for reaching 100%. |

Talk Lester. He will give you a letter from Xardas. He is in the outside in front of the tower. |

Did you get the book on the alchemist's bench? (I mean Halls of Irdorath) When you open the book, you will have the key to this door ? |

To get back on the topic : I trained 2h sword until 100% and then read the book. -> 105% 2h weapon. Kind of funny, never thought you could do better than 100%. _________________ Moderator and Council Magician of the RPGDot Shadows
