I'm currently a 10th lvl Fire Mage in the Old Camp, but I really dig lightning magic.
Will there be any camp shifting for me to look forward to? Is there anything I need to do or save up for? Can I learn 2 handed as a mage?
Thanks.
(and is that picture by my name real armor from the game?)

The pic is just for the forum as you increase your posts your title/pic changes also..

And yes you will get a chance to change later on in the game..

As for 2 hand mages look elsewhere in the forum you will find your answers there

No - You cannot buy 2handed as a mage
Yes - You can buy 2handed as a LOUSY mage

It costs like 200 skillpoints to master the skill in magic, wich you need to finish the game.

It costs 70 skillpoints to master the skill in 2handed combat, wich is for the ones that wants to play as a warrior.

To quit your career as a Mage when you reached 60% and then become a warrior is not reccomended.

The pic to the right (Peasent) is the german version of the guard armor (green-blue). In the American they are red.

Best Regards
