You don't get dragon slayer until ch 5 after you've found the secret library.

You could go after dragon slicer, it's guarded by a couple of shadow warriors. Pretty nasty criitters if you ask me. It's in a cave not too far from the circle of the sun. It will be on your right as you leave Grimbold.

Go back and kill them then. They offer nice XP and loot, and are good for fighting practice.
