Or, you can save yourself a half hour, and put a 400 gem in, select "Constant Effect", then replace it with a Rat's soul.

My Enchantments

Did anyone notice if you enchant a +2 hp/+4 ftg ring with constant effect, that's all you can put in? That is if you put the hp enchantment on first and then the fatigue one. However, if you put fatigue (in the menu) on first and then health regen. you can make a ring with +7 ftg / +2 hp. How bizarre.

Cool things I came up with:

Amulet: constant effect: water walking, +10 ftg (or +6 I think on pants)
Monk's Quick Escape: heal 20 hp for 5 or so seconds, invisibility for 15 seconds. I can almost see Vincent Price throwing down his smoke bombs and disappearing when I use this ring.

Another cool idea: Instead of invisibility, to make it more realistic to an actual ninja's smoke bomb, has anyone tried blind 100% on target in a really big radius?

Soultrap and Gems

You can buy the Soultrap spell in the bottom level of the Balmora Mages guild, from the Mage that can teleport you (travel) At the top level, the Enchanter there has about 7 (?) Soul gems with souls allready in them, including a grand soul gem with a winged twilight, allowing a 300 charge.

Amulet of wide damage.
Cast on use, 400 charges. (Costs me 5pts to cast it)
Deals 80pts of damage witin 40ft to everyon, even ppl in other rooms. I don't know how many times I walked upstairs and tripped over a corpse.
Not a good item if you like to free slaves, since they'll die too.
To give you an idea of the power of this item, killing vivec with it takes up maybe 2/3 of the charge. Kills entire flocks of cliff racers in one cast as well.
I don't use it anymore, since it's practically cheating.

I saved TONS of cash to make an constant effect of firedamage on target on a sword. Think I had to edit the enchantmentvalue on it, but anyway, I thought that this would deal firedamage on the target every hit without draining any charges. Didnīt work
Otherwise, rings of constant restore fatigue a couple of points is really usefull. And levitation items a usefull as well. Tried to make constant slowfall effect on a pair of boots or whatever, but after a while of playing, I started taking damage when entering/leaving houses or dungeons. Took me a while to figure out what happened, and it turned out to be the slowfall. Just a word of warning...

LOL @ moondragon...after reading this, im starting to be very very happy that with my new char ive got enchant as a major skill, but also sad that i didnt do a few other things...but it doesnt matter too much. anyway i love these evil things you guys have on your guys, its just too bad that there arent any enemies worthy to stand up to these items...=]

I am proud to say that the best item I have created with my Orc Adventurer is a crappy common belt with an "increase fatigue 1 point for 1 sec on self" enchantment. I realize that that may very well be the lamest item in the entire game, but then again, my character sucks. His name is Ug, and he hits things with clubs... It turns out that he is not overly gifted in the art of magic.

i am using the following constant enchantments:

Night Eye lvl 40 ( the game looks better this way)
Water Breathing ( nice )
Sanctuary
Fatigue +2 / Health + 1 (best enchantment in my opinion)
Levitate lvl 8 (better than the slow wizards staff)

all other armour: fortify strength

+ Mararas Ring

I think that any orc barbarian like me will find those usefull:

Ring of Superb Strenght - Fortify strenght 47 pts - constant effect
Ring of Superb Strenght #2 - Fortify strenght 47 pts - constant effect
(my char has got 194 strenght now...YIPEEE, around 1000 carrying capacity)
Shirt of recall - recall on self ( 150 charge)
Robe of Mark - mark on self(165 charge)
Daedric Head 'masher(Daedric Warhammer) - restore 30 health - cast when strikes( 400 charge)
Painkiller - restores 3 health - constant effect(3 health restore every second)

plus some normal ones:

flying underwear - 10 points levitate 60 secs
water walking boots - 60 secs water walk

plus some enchanted items found in game like Wraithguard and Mask of Idontknowhisname

My lvl 30 orc battlemage is ready for raid!

Hahaha! I can feel your pain. My nord fighter looks like Arnold.. but he also thinks like Arnold. I haven't managed to conjure up a dust bunny so far. But I am working on it. I just want a constant effect light on my ebony shoulder pads! And a constant effect water breathing for my pearl diving sessions..

I dont understand why a barbarian cant use magic or be intelligent? My guy is a barbarian and he's got all magic skills above 70.

At the end, dosent matter if you chose magician, thief, warrior or whatever, you'll end up as a Master(Battlemage that is, plus some extra thieving skills)

I think I'll enchant my underwear with permanent cure disease, since my character hasn't removed it for several weeks...
