You know what is interesting, is Lord Brinne was a real life guy, that was his message board name on the old Ultima 9 Horizons message board. He was really into crpg's and comitted suicide about year or so ago and his friends had him put into a few rpg's that were in development at the time. I believe Lord Brinne is also in Might&Magic 8, inside a tomb somewhere. I think he was also in Ultima 9 somewhere as well. I actually talked with the guy on that board about Ultima 9 before he died, makes me feel weird talking about.

Ugh, suiciders, don't even get me started on the subject. I don't think anyone that kills themself should be honored afterwards, as it (suicide) is the most selfish thing someone can do...

He was a regular in a Forum dedicated to CRPG's I visit every day. I talked with him many many times. He was the most helpful person I've met in a forum, and most knowledgeable in terms of hardware. There was not a question he couldn't or wouldn't answer. Why he killed himself, I don't know and I don't care. I'm not the one to judge his decision. I only know I liked the guy very much. And yes, there are shrines and tombs with his name in U9, M&M 8 and one other game I can't remember now.
