Can someone explain me how the magic in gothic works?
I'm in the first circle but when i use a scroll, he works but dissapears after use.
So i'm always forced to buy new ones? Can't i learn it like in BG?
And what meanings have those circles of magic?
I first wanted to be a mage, but now i'm putting all the skill points in strength because i can't use the magic the right way

Scrolls disappear after one use, runes donīt have this limitation but require a certain magic circle. Handling is the same.

At a certain point of the game, you'll have a chance to begin learning magic. You can then go to a trainer and spend points to learn magic circles. Differenent runes require you to be in a certain circle. The higher circle you're in, the more runes you can use.

Most of the books do nothing. Only a few have uses.
