| Morrowind Prophecies Availability |
|
Does anyone know if there are any retail chains distributing the guide? I went to a couple of stores locally looking for it, including CompUSA which generally has guides on the shelves by the games if they are available, but I couldn't find it. Did everyone who has the guide just order it from Bethesda? Paying $8.50 for S&H on a book seems kinda lame and I'd rather get it locally for expedience anyway. |

Surely this is an easy question. Is it available in stores or is it available exclusively through Bethesda's online store? It might be more fun without it anyway.

Well...
Gamestop.com has it, too...but you can't avoid shipping charges with them. However, you might look at your local EB stores, or Babbage's... something that specializes in games would be a good place to start..
I personally haven't seen it on any shelves, but I'm not really looking for it, either...I don't like getting a strat guide unless I am REALLY stuck. I am one of the guys that hates reading spoilers on this board!!!!

Electronics Boutique and CompuCentre (Canada) have had it since May 3rd.
I got a 20% discount because I bought it while I picked up my game. Best Buy and FutureShop must have it by now. I bet even Walmart has it in stock.
Please be advised it is a spoiler to everything in Morrowind. I do not look past page 16 and even then I do not study it. The whole point of this type of adventure is the surprises. If your stuck go do something else in Morrowind and come back to it later.

I checked amazon.com, yahoo.com, and mysimon.com and none of them seem to know about it. I know it exists, so elderscrolls.com looks like the online distributor of the guide. |

My wife picked up the game and the guide at EB last Thursday. The guide was 20% off. |

As of yesterday, wal mart did NOT have it in stock..
They had about 100 copies of Dungeon Siege though...
