Do you mean the translation of thirty lines of text only? I'd give it a try.

Great.

I'll mail you the text when I'm back at my PC...

PS: Trivia fact - Die Bedrohung had as many downloads in its first day of availability as VisiGothic had in its first month! (About 2500)

yeah it's great...but entirely new is not what i can call it..the environments are basically the exact same, just new texture/colors and starting place is different plus some new characters..did that sheep herder play a role in gothic ??
i haven't finished the game yet so maybe i will meet this person or is this all completely implemented??

i'm looking forward defintely for all the text to be english...is this made with the Spacer tool??? i have installed spacer..can load environments but cannot delete/move objects...

Ooh, voices'd be fun.

I'd love to help if you did that. Though I'd probably suck. I've always wanted to try voice-acting bue I'd always thought of myself as more of a cartoon voice actor since the voices I seem to be able to do are utterly ludicrous Monty Python type ones (I am British, after all). Buuuut, if you happened to have an insipidly mad character a la Minsc (and if it actually does get voice translated, which doesn't seem likely but) ... well, you knowwwww ... I'd be happy to give it a shot. ;3

I was so looking forward to downloading the new mod for Gothic, haven't finished the game yet, but I definently want the mod when I do so I won't have withdrawels. I hope you guys can atleast translate the text to English, that would be so cool. Gothic is a really awesome game. No offense to any Germans, but it kind of stinks being a German game just for the fact that I can't read German...d'oh!! I'd really like to read up everything that's going on with this game, but so much of it is in German. Even the Gothic install was German. But heck, I think I'll go ahead and try the mod anyways.

Take care guys, hope to see some more mods in the future.

no offense to germans or anything but it seems like it would be better to make it in english, english is spoken most in the trade world and most of the people that play gothic at least understand english. although i still wanna learn german if i could find someone that teaches it! lol
