Remove image stuttering

I think I found the solution. Image stuttering is almost totally gone for me now.

How? I went to the bios and disabled "HDD smartdrive capacity" or whatever.

I found a really cool bios optimization web site (it's in french sorry) and optimized my bios for good. They say HDD smartdrive is useless for most users. It does a checking whenever you write on your HD. And with morrowind, it's not good at all. So turn it off and see if it makes a difference.

Is anyone able to verify how safe this is? I'm quite curiously curious...

Wont make a difference - S.M.A.R.T. monitors drive fitness and temperatur. Enabling it yields a very limited or no performance gain. The technology is built into most new ATA drivers.

Judge on facts. Try it and tell me if it improves the game fluidity.
