I just started replaying NOTR and have a couple of questions.
1. The first time I met Vatras, I had the option to ask him about a Stone Tablet I was carrying. I didn't ask about it, because I wanted to check and see what kind of stone tablet it was. So I did and saw it was one of the ones that you can sell with no reprecussions. I opened a conversation with Vatras again, to sell him the tablet but he no longer has that conversation option. Will it come back later, or have I permanently lost the option to sell him the tablets?
2. I put off talking to Greg until I had learned Lockpicking and had gotten my free Leather armor (still chapter 1). When I went out of the city to talk to him (and give him some clothes) he was gone. Does anyone know where he might be gone to? Does he turn up again or do I need to restart to be able to complete the game.

Greg is sitting in front of the dead harpy tavern.So you have not missed anything important.Only 100exp and few lines of dialog. Just keep playing 
Can't say much about your problem with vatras as it has never happened to me..

The Stonetablet-dialog does disappear, but others who had the problem encountered it in say chapter 2 or 3, so I don't know whether it's supposed to dissapear right after the first encounter of not.

It dissappears when you find out more about the ancients, and Saturas tells you that he doesn't need such tablets, he needs special ones. Just talk to Vatras about it - you don't have to give him the stone tablet, only say "I have a stone tablet for you", and he will say "Oh bring me all you can find".. that should enable the option "I have some more stone tablets for you".. and that latest option will not go away. |
