Xen, good luck! Let us know if you manage to do that! Maybe if you push your strength to the max.....

My strength is nicely 100 at level 8. With a pickaxe, there's just no other way to do things.

I'm sure you know that Lee will train you in 2H without requiring 1H, right?

Xen, Are you allowing yourself to use magic (only when it is absolutely necessary?) If so, than a shrink scroll might be a must when attacking a troll with a pickaxe!

I'm a member of Old Camp... will Lee still train me?
I'll probably master 1 handed anyways if for no other reason than when fighting stone golems.
Yes, I'm using magic when I 'must'. I'll just have to see if killing a troll with a pickaxe counts as a 'must use shrink scroll' situation.

not to ruin anyone's fun about pickaxes, but what about my post? if a troll is immune to fire, uritziel isn't going to be much good against it is it?

Correct. Add to that fact that Uriziel does NOT add strength in, and you have one sucky troll killing 'ultimate weapon'.

I don't know if the troll is immune to fire. I mean, one of the only spells that works on trolls is storm of fire. I wonder....I'm going to see if I can find out what if any fire protection trolls have. I'll post the results (that is if I can find it out).

my point was that uritziel is the ultimate weapon under that right circumstances. but then i guess Innos' Rage doesn't need circumstances putting it ahead in the majority of the tiem so......forget i posted. i beg your forgiveness for my thick headedness.

The troll's protections:
[PROT_BLUNT] = 150
[PROT_EDGE] = 150
[PROT_POINT] = 9999; // immun
[PROT_FIRE] = 110
[PROT_MAGIC] = 100
"URIZIEL"
[DAM_INDEX_EDGE]= 1
[DAM_INDEX_FIRE]= 30
[DAM_INDEX_MAGIC]= 120
[DAM_INDEX_MAGIC]= 150
As you can see all of the damage from Uriziel is from magic damage.
"Innos Zorn"
damageTotal = 110 + Strength added
damagetype = DAM_EDGE
The undead Orc Shaman is immune to all forms of damage except Magic and has 150 protection there.

Yes, once you get kicked out of the old camp.

Welcome to the world of practical science, Gig ! Good job, you possess a lot of patience.
Uriziel was good if you didn't have much strength, but I liked Innos' Rage better, anyway - I absolutely hated the fact that Uriziel killspeople.
