This looks to be one of the biggest month of gaming heavyweights in quite some time. Let's look at our contestants:

World of Warcraft - 22nd? At least according to this: http://www.freep.com/entertainment/videogames/gbits24e_20041024.htm . Probably because of EQ2. Definitely one of the biggest and most potent upcomers out there.

EverQuest 2: 11th as far as I know. Also a real hard-hitter.

Half Life 2: 16th. Most anticipated game of them all? Probably.

GTA: San Andreas: Nov 29th. Also very anticipated.

VtM - Bloodlines: 26th?? One of the biggest RPG-ish titles this year.

Others:
Prince of Persia 2
Pirates
Rollercoaster Tycoon 3
Dungeon Lords

Anything I've missed?

And none of them appeal to me at full release price...

Le sigh. It's been a slow year ...

It's a good thing I'm not busy until January rolls around. I've got a lot of gaming to do. Those games are going to keep me happy during the holidays!
