How to get a quick buck?

Desperately need to consecrate my sword in order to go and get the dragons.
Got the eye of Innos but only 4.000 gold.
Where can I get that gold without need to kill whole bleedin' Orc siege of tha castle?
BTW those Shadow Warriors kicked my ass thoroughly. Will go back wit Holy sword. However skeletons go now with 2-3 blows with magic ore 2hander. Piece of cake. Total score of this evening at least 40 Orcs abt 6 skeletons and some goblin skeletons. Not bad I reckon.

Well, sell everything you don't need. Like the higher mana potions, scrolls you aren't ever going to be able to use, weapons you might have on you, armor you are not using. Tools, jewelry, animal parts, spell components you will never use, etc....

You can fight Alkin at the warehouse for 50 gold a try, I think once per day.

Did you take an apprenticeship? Skins for Bosper, swords for the blacksmith, mushrooms for Constantino. How about pickpocketing, have you learned that?

Lots of ways to make money.

Edit, spelling correction,

Pickpocketing the "High" people in Upper Quarter might do. Selling Old Swords. And like jmurdock said apprenticeship (spelling ?) brings a lot of cash.

Thanks for your suggestions but I have done most of them except for pickpocketing.
Now I am almost at level 21 so I will use fresh experience points to do that.
Who can teach me? All thieves of the guild are for a long time dead by now.

Dalmata,

Would you like to use marvin & insert Jesper,Ramirez & Cassia below the
hotel & then kill them again?

Cassia - -(pickpocket)
Ramirez (lockpick)
Jesper - - (stealth)

Or maybe insert some gold?

Wulf,
Thanks a lot but I prefer not to at this stage.
The honor of Paladin does not allow cheating
Btw what is marvin and how can I get in that mode?
Maybe for later when and if honor fades.
Now I'll go and kill myself some Orcs besieging the castle.
Tadaaah!!!

Thanks sire,
However I went to the walley of mines and saw that I went into 4th chapter and decided to go to my last save.
Then I went behind the light tower and followed the coast line. There somewhere I found some lizzards and a lot of slaughtered men and lot of stuff to sell. There was also a cave with a winch and some kind of door that could be activated by that winch but I needed a right item.
- What item and where can i find it?
Then I went further and came up the stairs to the circle of sun. To be honest did not know abt this access. There was another cave with some skeletons and some minor vermin that I simply killed. Had enough money to consecrate my sword and did it. I think as next of going to get those shadow warriors. Now got my 2H sword skill on 60%. Maybe now it is worth trying.
- Who is the teacher who can teach 2H above 60%?

Not exept from selling it. But the xp is definitive worth more than a few scrape coins.

There are lots of ways for infinite money, well, at least before chapter 4 when you could beat up mercenary cypher for his items and selling it again, and beating him, and so on...
i got around 60.000 gp eventually this way and only some times you have to pay Lee a small sum ( because of the sissy farmers who don't like to see blood, oh why dont they just faint and drop dead) but dont do it with the other mercenary near lee himself, cause then a mass fight will occur.

60,000 gp? Hmmm, I don't think I needed quite that much gold to get through the game. It's a thought though.

This was a good and above all fruitfull day today. Good day for hero, bad bad bad day for his foes.
I found molerat fat and opened the cave and actually the best thing to do was to get drunk as there was so much gin that it was quite incredible. Cave of bootleggers I will call it from now on.
Then I killed last 2 skeletons in the dark wood behind the light tower and went to meet shadow warriors. Now they are only shadow indeed as their weary souls have finaly found their rest.
The Black Troll joined them short after. Good way how to kill the beast even at the lower levels I belive: on the left hand side of the cave entrance there is a rock pointing up with a small plateau in front of it. Jump on it and Troll wil come to you but wont be able to reach you. Don't get to close because he can still get you if you do. So keep distance and chop him off little by little.
- Is Black Troll hide good for anything else except for selling to Raoul the mercenary?
Tomorrow I will fix the skeletons at the Dexters bandits hideout.

Btw there is no trainer in front of city hall in Khorinis. Only for 1H.
- Who can train more then 60% 2H?

Oposit to the pyramid there is a cave with a lot of goodies. Just need to kill some goblins and mine creepers. That is not a huge problem on higher level.
However in the right tunnel there are creepers but also some stone gollems who get activated after you open left chest. So open first right and then left pick up the goodies and scram asap before gollems get up. They don't get out of their own tunnel. In the left tunnel there are quite a few goblins but crossbow is doing miracles. On 40% level they perish with one bolt only.
