Vampirism and assassins

Afternoon everyone.

Been playing Morrowind for a while, and having a great time with it. I have a question though about the whole vampirism aspect of the game.

How (and where) do you get turned into a vampire? what are the effects? (Good and bad) Are there any special quests/items that you can get/use by only being a vampire?

Also, we all know about the assassin guild MOrag Tong, they are considered "honorable" assassins...their main opponents are some House of (whatever, can't remember the name) out west somewhere.

What's the guild's name? where can I join?

thanks for the help guys.

Joining Morag

You need to find their headquarters in Vivec. It is a secret area of the Arena. There you will find the Guildmaster who will allow you to join.
