What about Middle Earth Online? I know, i know it was cancelled, but there are rumors of rumors (haha) about it flying around and i wanna check with you guys (and gals) to see if you know anything about it. Have you heard any of these rumors (which i have not)? or have you even heard of rumors of there being rumors concerning Middle Earth Online before this was posted? haha. this is not a joke. speak up!

IMO MEO will never see the light of day, or if it is it will not be as good as it should.
I was looking forward to it WAYYY back in 98 mainly because I loved the way they were going to handle death. But then Sierra, IIRC, fired all of MEO's current staff, restaffed the project, changed a bunch of things like Perma-death to more mainstream ideas, and haven't mentioned a word about it since.

And that it lives up to the world we all built for the books.

Yeah, not that i think anyone could do such a game.

Alright, let me rephrase that,

And that it is true to the world we all built for the books.

If you look closely at Dragon Empires, you will see that it was the same designer as the old MEO. After he got fired he joined DE and thus what we see in DE should have actually been MEO damnit!
