OK, I have s few scrolls, and I see that my transform to mealbug scroll is assigned to #4. So I press 4, and hit ctrl+up, and it just looks like I'm holding a lit sparkler or something. Do I need to hold down the keys a certain way, or a certain number of times, to use the scroll?
I think that Gothic is definitely thus far the best RPG I've ever played, even though these controls drive me crazy sometimes. It's such a huge world and such an involved story and lets you do so much that it's worth getting used to a totally counterintuitive control system. |

Hold (ctrl or LMB) + up as long as it takes to charge and execute the spell. |

This is by far the best game I've played, ANY genre. And I have'nt even gotten that far yet.
