Finished the game, some comments...

Okay, I finished the game. It was fantastic! Even if the last chapter was kinda boring. I thought the end boss would be much cooler and more powerfull! I mean, the voice of the undead dragon didn't sound very... evil. Some of the voice acting was pretty poor... But its still a great game. But I missed something... when I killed the undead dragon, I still had the Knights Armor! Where would I have found a better one?

Now Im going to replay the game and join another faction.

*double-sigh* Did you search the forum?

Okay, start from the point where you enter the secret library.
  1. Grab ALL the item on the table, including the blank runestone, Innos' Tears, and the sea map.
  2. There are two bookstands in the library. One is an alamach. Read the alamach.
  3. Go to Lutero in the Upper Quarters of the city, and purchase a Holy Water from him
  4. Go to Xardas' Tower and kill all the demons
  5. Use the rune table and synthesize a teleport rune
  6. After the teleport rune is synthesized, equip it
  7. Teleport and the Paladin's Armor will appear right in front of your eyes.

chapter 6 was shall i say, stupid. Its like one big cave with 2 dragons. Imo khornis and vom were a lot more fun. BTW i finished the game as a paladin and was thinking about doing a mage char. What is the best armor a mage gets and can you concentrate on just magic as a mage or do you also have to spend points on str and dex and weaponry?

Whats wrong with you? It was just a simple question, I didn't ask for a whole explanation, Its not like im going to replay from some older save just to get an armor I managed well without...

Best armor: High Fire Mage Robe.

I increased my mage's 2 hand with like 10% and strength with 10. That was ALL I changed of those. The rest went to mana and spells and a few others (like lockpick).

Anyway, yeah, the last chapter was a drag, at LEAST compared to the last chapter of Gothic 1. Plus, the end fight was just FAR too easy.

I found the dragons fight really boring, its was hard to get close and hit, becouse the fire breath would throw you awak, so the other option was to use ranged weapon/spell... whice made it all too easy, I mean, the dragon just stood there while you kept casting spells/using ranged weapons.
