Hello everyone, i need some really basic info.Im playing for a time now(chapter 5) and there was a thing that i never thought about: Do the time in game make any difference for quests? I usually dont go around killing all beasts in map, i just kill the beasts that i find in the way for the quests objectives, so i dont waste much time.
Another info: Im playing as an mage, and i ve heard i will need an special sword in order to kill the final enemies in game.So my question is: as an mage, i will really need that sword? or i can just kill the enemies with magic? since my strenght is only 15, im not sure if im able to do that.
obs: i plan to be an necromancer, im actually an water mage, 5th circle of magic.

Greetings and welcome to the forum. 
1. Time does not make any difference. Spend as much time as you like exploring the world.
2. There is a sword that is a quest item. You will need to retrieve it. Don't worry about having to wield the sword itself. There is an alternative option for mages. Just pay attention to what Xardas says about it and you'll do fine.

Welcome.
You need to kill one opponent with the sword. It requires 30 str.
