Well, back to my original question. I've scoured that mouse.net site, and come up dry. I still don't have a clue even what the difference between Vardenfell and Morrowind is. And what's up with that cult the guards outside Balmora talk about who want to resurrect some dude? And who do the GUARDS work for????? If someone could answer these questions 3 maybe I'd understand a little more. Thanks. |

1) Vvardenfell is the island you're on. The province of Morrowind consists of the island of Vvardenfell and a bit more land in a strip all the way around the West, South and East sides. (Yep, the game is called Morrowind but you actually wander around Vvardenfell...  )
2) Who, the Ashlanders? About the Nerevarine? Wait and see...
3) The guards are employed either by the Temple, the Empire or one of the three of Morrowind's five Great Houses that have holdings on Vvardenfell (Hlaalu, Redoran or Telvanni). As you can see, the guards are visibly different between Vivec (Temple-run Ordinators) and Balmora (Hlaalu guards).
Any more nagging questions?
