How would it run on?

Hey peoples,

I can only dream about playing Morrowind because I have a pentium 200 mmx with voodoo 1, but looks a great game to me.

Suppose I would have an AMD XP 2000+ with a Geforce 4 Ti 4400 and an msi KT3 motherboard with 512 DDR RAM at 266 megahertz frequenty, HOW would it perform? Would direct X 9 be a necessery tool to install for an exceptable framerate? Can anyone help me out with this question?

I would say that installing the latest version of Direct X is always a good idea. It always seems to be when you have an older version that the problems start.

With the system you described I think you would be very happy with the performance of MW. There would be little pop up and the water in the sea and lakes would look phenomenal. The framerate would be questionable, but I think you would notice only a small amount of slowdown and loading times would be noticeable, but not tedious like on the system I am using, which is a 1.3 GHz Athlon with 512 ram and a Geforce 2 MX.
