So I have this sleep scroll.. I assume it puts monsters to sleep. When I wield it and "use" it, my character just shrugs and nothing happens.
I have used the light scroll before and a couple of runes to cast spells, so I'm familiar with the key combination to cast.
But this sleep scroll just doesn't do anything. It says you only need 5 mana to cast it and at the moment I have 12 mana, so that shouldn't be a problem.
I've focused on a monster and an NPC and tried to cast it, but it does nothing.
Anyone?

It should work on NPCs just fine. A Baal quest requires you to use it. So it does work.

Does it work on monsters?
And when you cast it on an NPC, will they have any noticeable difference? Will they fall to the ground, or just stand there like a zombie?

I've never tried it on a monster. Never had a reason to. The NPC will drop to the ground and sleep for a period.

use the spell when raiding a strong charaters hut. Cast the spell, go in, take what you want, run away. |
