Punabi - win the fight but now I can't move

I've obviously been hit with some spell that reduces my strength and endurance to 0. Even resting forever does nothing, and I'm pretty sick of standing around. How do I reverse this? I've tried going into the battle with all sorts of protections, including protection from magic, but the end result is always the same. How do I deal with this one? There had better be some pretty good stuff in this area, because I'm damned if I'm paying the 2,000 myself.
