Hello all, is there a place where i can get the german scripting for Gothic? I have the american release, but feel like im watching a badly dubbed movie Entertaining as it may be, I would like to know if ther is a way to restore the original german language soundfiles etc.

The speach files alone are over 540 megs, ambient sounds over a 100 megs.
Use VDFS to extract them from your gothicdata directory.

Although the German sound files are indeed large, you can get the German text from the Mod Dev Kit, if you're that keen |

All of the speach texts are located in one file OUINFO.INF
Gothic_workDATAscripts_compiled directory
